In 1964, a lifeguard rescued a 5-year-old girl from drowning in a pool on Long Island, NY.
In 2013, this girl, now a woman, has tracked down her hero to give him the thanks she’s wanted to give for almost 50 years.
A Google search gave Eady Rothstein the number of Larry Brickman, the then-21-year-old lifeguard who saved her life. They currently have an in-person meet-up in the works.
