I am a college student at Berklee. I am from Knoxville, TN. I would love to find a spot that I could volunteer maybe once or twice a month depending on my academic load. I will be leaving for the summer but will be back around August 6th. Thank you, Audrey

Hi Audrey! Thank you so much for getting in touch and for your interest in volunteering with us! There are numerous Ways to Volunteer here at Boston Cares (https://www.bostoncares.org/waystovolunteer). Our Calendar Program provides a wide variety of flexible opportunities for individuals who are looking to volunteer on their own schedules. We also have some higher-commitment programs, which offer deeper dives into specific issue areas, such as Allies for Immigrants. Additionally, we are currently offering virtual and at-home projects due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To get started, you will need to Become a Member of our Boston Cares Community (https://www.bostoncares.org/become_a_member)! This includes creating an account on our website and signing up for a virtual one-hour New Volunteer Orientation. The orientation which will familiarize you with our system and provide more information on our programs, policies, and practices.
