Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and partners for making 2018 MLK Day another successful day of service. Together, with 650 volunteers, we served more than 2,000 local immigrants by creating 15 beds, 930 sets of flashcards for immigrants studying for the U.S. Citizenship exam, 900 ESOL learning journals, 32 sets of conversational “jenga” for English practice, 169 lap desks for portable studying, and 375 international flags celebrating the diversity of Boston Public School students.
This incredible “day on” honoring Dr. King was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors: Target, Massachusetts Service Alliance & Corporation for National and Community Service, Fiduciary Trust, Harbor Networks, Human Rights Campaign and CareAcademy.
