Marie bankuti (427x640)

Marie Bankuti began volunteering and leading projects for Boston Cares in late 2012.  Meeting and working beside the dedicated professionals at these agencies and at Boston Cares has been eye opening and awe inspiring to her.

Marie Bankuti is a certified Leadership Coach and Project Management Professional who has built her career on a commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning. As founder of Tether Free Vision Inc., she specializes in coaching Information Technology Professionals around defining their own leadership styles, while creating engaged and productive working relationships.

Excited about embarking on learning more about disaster response and becoming equipped to help when the need arises, she encourages others to join D.A.R.T. to help have a critical impact on those in need when emergencies arise.

Rebecca Frechette has been a volunteer with Boston Cares for six years.

She developed an interest in Disaster Relief after volunteering in New Orleans with Boston Cares in 2008.

She joined Boston Cares D.A.R.T. when they initially launched in 2011. She is also an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Humane Society of the United States.

Her latest deployment was in November 2012 after Hurricane Sandy, she deployed with the Human Society of the United States and provided assistance at a temporary animal shelter in New York.
